Cursors you can tune

  • Three new cursor effects. Ribbon trails is a bundle of strands that chases the pointer and glows where it crosses itself. Multi-effect trail is one trail with four looks: constellation, ribbon, comet or bubbles. Dot cursor replaces the pointer with a dot that drags a tail and opens into a ring over links and buttons
  • Cursor effects take settings for the first time. The three new ones carry their own: up to five colors and how long each one holds, glow strength, thickness, how many strands, how far the trail stretches, dot size, and how much the trail carries your pointer's own speed

  • The Glitch text effect is redrawn. It ran one fixed twenty-step loop, so every burst looked identical. It now tears the word into bands that fall in different places each time, shifts their hue, and shakes the word underneath them

Profiles stay up without graphics acceleration

  • Premium accounts can change their username three times; free accounts once, as before. The name you choose when you set up your account still does not count, and your old address redirects to the new one for 90 days each time
  • Reporting illegal content has its own form: the address, the reason, who is reporting and a good-faith statement, with a receipt on screen and by email. Reports about child sexual abuse can be sent without a name or email
  • The withdrawal function is public: Withdraw from a purchase, in the footer of every page and at noiz.bio/withdraw, works without an account and at any time. It asks for a name, the contract or order and an address, confirms receipt by email at once with a reference number and the German date and time, and we then assess the declaration and contact you with the outcome. The Billing page and Settings keep a shortcut with your purchase filled in

  • The privacy notice no longer asks for consent it does not need. Measurement runs on legitimate interest, stores nothing on your device, and one control turns it off; the notice, its settings panel and the privacy policy now say the same thing, and the policy states the TLS versions the edge actually accepts
  • The price reads €4.99 on every surface, from one constant, instead of three different spellings
  • The status page lists the incidents behind its count: when each began, how long it lasted, which check failed and what the monitor saw
  • Pressing OK on the privacy notice is now remembered in your browser only; only an objection to measurement is recorded on our side. The privacy policy describes measurement data as pseudonymous rather than saying it cannot identify you
  • Premium now comes with a 14-day refund: ask within 14 days of buying and the full price goes back to the payment method you used, no reason needed. The refund policy, pricing, billing and the terms all say so
  • The copyright policy is now a German and EU notice process with no signature or sworn statement required, and the United States DMCA format sits beside it as its own section
  • Buying Premium says plainly what you are buying: an ongoing hosted digital service. The checkout box, which is never pre-checked, now asks only for immediate activation and no longer says you lose your right of withdrawal, because activating Premium does not end it. After payment you get a contract confirmation by email with the price, the request you confirmed and when, how to withdraw, and the versions of the Terms and the Refund Policy that applied; Settings, Billing can send it again. The Refund Policy now changes only for later purchases: yours keeps the terms it was made under

  • Design is four tabs in the order your page shows them: Page, Card, Profile and Share. Every setting has one home, and the search finds it by name
  • Links opens on your links. Add link is one button that opens the platform picker; each row keeps feature, hide and edit, and the rest is in a menu with Delete last
  • Home is one number: this week's views against last week's, with the week drawn under it. Analytics opens on the figure being charted and keeps its range in the address
  • Every page, the Links style tab and the Content tab have addresses, so a refresh, the back button and a shared link all land where you were

  • A faint box appeared behind social icons when the card background was set to none and icon glow was on

  • Live Discord status - the online, idle and do-not-disturb dot announced in 2.6.0. It came from Lanyard, a third-party service, and it required joining their Discord server to work at all. Discord does not offer another way to read someone else's status, so the feature has gone rather than being rebuilt. Your badges, handle and picture are unaffected
  • Themes has been taken out of the Design section for now. Nothing you already applied has changed — your colors, background and card settings are exactly as you left them, and every one of them is still editable on the other tabs. Design now opens on Profile

Earlier development predates this changelog. Noiz was built and rebuilt for a year before these entries begin, but no release log was kept at the time, so rather than reconstruct one from memory, the record starts where it was actually written down.
