Report illegal content

Tell us about content on Noiz that you believe is illegal. You do not have to be the person affected, and you do not need a lawyer. We read every report, decide, and tell you what we decided and why.

If this is about child sexual abuse material

Do not download, screenshot, copy or forward the material, not to us, not to anyone. Possessing or transmitting it is itself an offense, including when done to build a better report. Send the address of the page and a short description in words. That is enough for us to act. You can send this kind of report without your name or email, and it is moved ahead of every other queue.

What happens next

You get a reference on this page, and a confirmation by email if you gave an address.
We review the report and decide whether to remove the content, restrict it, restrict the account, or leave it in place.
We tell you what we decided and why. If we act, we tell the creator the same thing, and that they can reply to contest it. Where the law requires us to notify an authority, we do.

Deliberately false reports are themselves a misuse of the Service. How reports are handled is set out in section 6a of the Terms of Service, and what we do about abuse of minors in the child safety policy.
