Before you switch, take stock
- Write down every link on your page, and note which ones people actually tap. Linktree's analytics tell you; this is the moment to drop the ones nobody uses.
- List your profile icons: they are quick to add again, but easy to forget.
- Note anything Linktree does for you beyond links: a store, email sign-ups, scheduled posts. Check the new tool does it too, or decide where it will live instead.
- Find every place your Linktree address appears: bios, video descriptions, printed QR codes.
That last point matters most. Bios are easy to update; a QR code on a flyer or a merch table is not, which is why the old page should stay up for a while.
Import your links
Most tools let you add links one by one; some can read your old page for you. Noiz reads pages from Linktree, Beacons, bio.link, AllMyLinks, solo.to and Carrd, and nothing is added until you say so.
- In the Noiz dashboard, go to Links and press Import, above your list of links.
- Paste your Linktree address and press Read page.
- Look through what was found, and uncheck anything you do not want.
- Press Import. The links you checked land at the bottom of your list.
Links you already have are not touched or reordered. One read finds up to 60 links, titles are trimmed to 100 characters, and icons are matched to the imported links right after they land. Importing links has the details.
What an import cannot carry
- Your design. Colors, fonts and backgrounds are set again in the new tool, which is usually the reason for switching anyway.
- Your analytics history. Past views and clicks stay with Linktree, and the new page starts counting from the day it goes live.
- Store products, email subscribers and scheduled posts, which belong to those Linktree features rather than to your links.
- Your address. linktr.ee/yourname belongs to Linktree, so the new page has a new address.
Then rebuild the top of the page: your photo, one line about what you make, and the link you want tapped first. Link in bio examples has ideas for what goes first.
Change every bio
Work through the list you made. The apps with the most visitors come first.
- Instagram: Edit profile, then Links. See the Instagram guide.
- TikTok: Edit profile, if your account can post a link. See the TikTok guide.
- YouTube, X, Twitch and Discord: wherever each one keeps your links and about text.
- Video descriptions and pinned comments, starting with the videos that still get views.
- Your email signature.
Keep the old page pointing to the new one
Do not delete your Linktree page on day one. Old videos, screenshots and printed QR codes will keep sending people there for months. Replace its links with a single one that says where you moved, like "My links are now at noiz.bio/yourname", and leave it up until visits there dry up.
Then watch the new page's analytics. Noiz separates visitors by where they came from, so you can see each app's traffic arrive as you update it.

- Can I import my Linktree links into Noiz?
- Yes. Paste your Linktree address under Links, then Import, and pick which links to add. Nothing is written until you press Import.
- Will I lose my Linktree analytics?
- The history stays in Linktree, where you can still read it. The new page counts from the day it goes live, so note the numbers you care about before you switch.
- Can I keep my Linktree address?
- No. The address belongs to Linktree. Leave the old page up with one link to your new address, so nothing that points at it becomes a dead end.
- Does Noiz import from tools other than Linktree?
- Yes: Linktree, Beacons, bio.link, AllMyLinks, solo.to and Carrd. Other addresses are refused on purpose, because the importer fetches the page from Noiz's server.
