My design changes did not stick
Design saves automatically about a second after you stop editing, and the page header reports it: Saving, then Saved. If it says Save failed, the write failed: check your connection and change the value again. If it said Saved, the change is stored.
A Premium setting is not showing on my page
Premium controls carry a lock on a free account. If Premium ends, through a refund for example, nothing you set is deleted: your page stops showing the Premium parts and draws the free defaults in their place, and everything returns as you left it if Premium comes back. While an account is free:
- An animated or video background shows your page color instead
- Fonts, glow, cursor effects, Avatar Shape, icon size and the enter screen use their defaults
- Published pages below your card are not shown
Nothing is wrong with your browser in those cases. They need Premium, and the lock on the control says so.
A design setting has no visible effect
- Corner radius on your avatar only appears when Avatar Shape is Square, on a circle there is nothing for it to do
- Cursor effects are desktop-only. A phone has no cursor to trail
- A background image or video needs Background Type switched to it under Design → Page → Background: Image is free, Video needs Premium. Uploading the file alone changes nothing
- Glow on one element needs that element switched on under Design → Card → Glow → Advanced, or beside the links or badges it belongs to. The master switch turns on all eight at once
- Opacity and Blur sit in the Profile Card group but act on your avatar and banner, not on the card
My music does not play
Browsers block audio until the visitor interacts with the page. With the enter screen on, the click that dismisses it starts the music. With it off, music starts on the visitor's first click, tap or keypress. Nothing is broken: the file is waiting.
An upload was rejected
- Avatar and background image: PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 15MB
- Banner: the same, plus GIF, up to 15MB
- Favicon: PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 2MB
- Video: MP4, MOV or GIF, up to 100MB
- Music: MP3, WAV or FLAC, up to 50MB
- Cursor: PNG, ICO or CUR, up to 2MB. SVG is refused, because an SVG can carry script
The extension has to match the list: a renamed file is still refused.
My Discord status never shows
Your Discord card shows your handle, your picture and any account badges you have. It does not show whether you are online: live status was removed. See the Discord article for the whole picture.
My page looks different from the preview
Public profiles are cached for speed, so a change can take a short while to reach a page someone else already loaded. Open your page in a private window to see the current version.
A background effect is slow
The animated backgrounds are WebGL shaders and cost real GPU time. Reduce the intensity or density, or pick a simpler one: a gradient or a still image reads as deliberate and costs nothing.
