Every upload is checked on our server, so a file that is too large or of the wrong type is refused whatever the browser allowed. These are the limits that apply.
Your profile and your page
- Avatar: PNG, JPG, JPEG or GIF, up to 15MB
- Banner (Premium): PNG, JPG, JPEG or GIF, up to 15MB
- Favicon (Premium): PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 2MB
- Background image: PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 15MB
- Background video (Premium): MP4, MOV or GIF, up to 100MB
- Card picture: PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 15MB
- Cursor image (Premium): PNG, ICO or CUR, up to 2MB
- Background music: MP3, WAV or FLAC, up to 50MB, with cover art up to 15MB
- Share image: PNG or JPG, up to 15MB
- A custom link icon: PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 2MB
On pages (Premium)
- Clips: MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 20MB each, five in all
- Tracks: MP3, WAV or FLAC, up to 10MB each, five in all, each with a cover of up to 2MB
- Gallery images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5MB each, ten in all
- Game covers: PNG, JPG, JPEG or WEBP, up to 2MB
- VRChat screenshots: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5MB each
The extension has to match the list: a renamed file is still refused. SVG is not accepted anywhere, because an SVG can carry script.
