Cursor effects (Premium)
Dashboard → Design → Page → Cursor. Something happens as a visitor moves their mouse across your page.
The ones that use your own content
- Emoji: your emoji, falling as the cursor moves
- Letters: your word, scattering letter by letter
- Text flag: your word trailing behind the cursor like a banner
- Springy emoji: a chain of your emoji that bounces and settles
A text field appears when you pick one of these. It takes emoji for the emoji effects and a word for the text ones.
The ambient ones
- Trail: a soft line of dots
- Ghost: fading copies of the cursor
- Following dot: one dot that catches up a beat later
- Bubbles: rings that rise and pop
- Snow: flakes drifting down
- Fairy dust: sparkles that fall and shrink
- Rainbow: a ribbon in shades of your color
- Clock: the time and date, orbiting the cursor
Most take a color, set right below the picker.
The ones with settings
- Ribbon trails: a silky bundle of strands that chases the cursor and glows where it crosses itself. Up to five colors, how long each one holds, and the bundle's opacity, thickness, strand count and length
- Multi-effect trail: one trail in four looks (constellation, ribbon, comet or bubbles), with size, intensity, movement and trail length
- Dot cursor: a dot replaces the pointer, trails a tapered tail and opens into a ring over links and buttons. Dot size, tail color, tail length and tail width
Pick one of these and its settings appear below the color. Each effect keeps its own settings, so trying another one does not lose them. The cursor effect color is always the main color: the dot, the trail, or the ribbon's first color.
Your own cursor image (Premium)
A separate control in the same tab replaces the pointer itself. PNG, ICO or CUR up to 2MB, and around 32×32: a large image makes an unusable cursor. SVG is refused, because an SVG can carry script.
