Scheduling a link
Open a link for editing and use the two time fields:
- Show from: the link stays off your page until this moment
- Hide after: the link comes off your page at this moment
Both are in your own local time. Either can be set on its own: a Show from with no Hide after is a drop that then stays up; a Hide after alone is a link that expires.
The five states a link can be in
- Active: on your page. The only state a visitor sees
- Hidden: you switched it off with the eye button
- Scheduled: its Show from is still in the future
- Expired: its Hide after has passed
- Archived: filed away, off the page and out of your working list
Each card carries its state as a small label, so a link that is not on your page always says why.
Hiding
The eye button takes a link off your page immediately and keeps everything about it. Use it for the link you will want back next month.
Archiving
Archiving does the same and also removes the link from your main list, so a long history does not get in the way of the links you are working on. A Show archived toggle brings them back into view, and each has a restore button.
Click history survives both. Deleting is the only thing that discards it.
