Where they live
Dashboard → Design → Page. Each has an upload button and, once set, a small cross to remove it.
Profile picture
- PNG, JPG or JPEG. No GIF
- Up to 15MB
- Square works best: around 400×400 is plenty
Its shape is set under Design → Profile, in the Profile Picture card: Round, or Square with a corner-radius slider running from a sharp corner to a full circle. Border color and width are there too, and both are free. Square itself needs Premium.
Banner (Premium)
- PNG, JPG, JPEG or GIF
- Up to 15MB
- 1500×500 recommended: it sits inside your profile card, so a wide crop is what fits
Favicon (Premium)
The small icon in the browser tab when someone has your page open. Up to 2MB, and 32×32 is the size it will be drawn at: a detailed image becomes mud.
Background image
Uploaded under Design → Page, in the Background Image card: PNG, JPG or JPEG up to 15MB.
Getting good results
- Compress before uploading. 15MB is the ceiling, not a target: your visitors are on phone connections
- Check your avatar against your actual background, not against white
- A GIF banner is fun and costs load time. Decide which you want
