Adding Live Cards

Steam, YouTube, Twitch and more, kept up to date on your card

What a live card is

A small card on your profile with live public data: your profile on Minecraft, Roblox, Steam, YouTube, Twitch or GitHub, the weather where you are, or a clock. Noiz's server fetches the data and refreshes it on a schedule, from every few minutes to once a day, so your visitors' browsers never contact those services for it. Live cards are free on every plan.

Adding one

  1. Open Profile → Widgets and find Card widgets
  2. Choose a widget, then give it what it asks for: a username, a channel, a place or a time zone
  3. Open the card to pick what it shows, such as followers, the contribution graph or today's high and low
  4. Drag the cards into the order you want, or switch one off to keep it for later. Each kind can be added once
  5. Press Save

Steam: sign in first

The Steam card only shows an account you prove is yours. Press Sign in through Steam: Steam tells noiz your account and nothing else. The card then shows that account and no other.

What each card shows

  • Steam: your profile and status, the game you played most in the last two weeks, and your Steam level if you want it
  • YouTube: your channel and its subscribers (unless your channel hides them), and its video and view counts if you turn them on
  • Twitch: your channel, and while you are live, what you are streaming, the stream title and how many are watching
  • GitHub: your followers, public repositories and contribution graph for the last year
  • Roblox: your status, the game you are in when Roblox shows it, and your followers
  • Minecraft: your Java Edition name and the face from your skin
  • Weather: the temperature, today's high and low, and wind or rain if you want them, in °C or °F
  • Time: a clock in your time zone, 12-hour, 24-hour or the visitor's own setting, with the date if you want it
